I need help. I recently dropped a new motor in my 86 mustang gt. It was converted to mass air before the new motor went in, and it ran fine.
The new motor went in with Edelbrock heads and cam. 73mm C&L mass air meter. The fuel pressure regulator was set to 42 psi with no vaccum. My fuel pump is rated at110lph.

Here's my problem.... the spark plugs in cylinders 3,4,7,and 8 are fouling with too much fuel.

Ive checked my ignition and all seems ok. I dropped in a new MSD dizzy.......It has a stock 302, with a matched 73 mm mass air flow meter to the stock 19lbs injectors. The cam is hydraulic roller tappet with duration @ 282/282. lift .498/.498. The heads are Edelbrock # edl-60329...60cc chamber,170cc intake. I have a 70mm throttle body bolted to a cobra intake.
I live in Bell Gardens,CA. The car runs as if nothing were wrong, when it warms up. The car pass the CA smog at a "TEST ONLY"
