Hey, one of my friends is selling a Merker for $600, I think I'm gonna get it because on top of that he also has another turbo motor that he's throwing in there with it. So my question is how hard is it to do a complete turbo 2.3 and tranny swap? How many days will it take if I got everything I need?

Forget about the transmission thats in it. All you really need is the spare engine and pick up a computer(LA3) on ebay. Buy the merkur and drive it. :nice:

Huh? But if I wanted to do the swap, could I just use the computer and everything else and put it in my car? Does it have everything to be a donor car?

Well yeah but the computer is for a non-intercooled car.

Thats alright, it doesnt have an intercooler on it now anyway. He is throwing one in there too with a rotated intake. Also, I need a ingition control module, is there any way to match it up with the distributor? The engine thats in there isnt the original, I think its from a svo.
