If I remember correctly it was the Monte Carlo model. I was wondering if someone could do a good recover job on one.

I have seen it for under $200 at some places, just to give you a heads up.

Yes it was and is the Monte Carlo, BUT it is a lttle different style. The new one is more "oval" for a lack of better word. It also has a slight bulge right about the 10/2 position on the inside of the wheel to give you a thumb crip area. It is also a little smaller in diameter. Sorry its not the best descrip. I have it in my 89-511 saleen, Ilove it.

thanks I have found some on ebay for around $150-$170. Just wanted to make sure they would fit. Also does the newer design still clear the cruise control buttons.

Yes they will clear the cruise control plate and buttons.
