My brother just installed a cervini kit and needs to mount the front license plate. (State Law) He is thinking of showing the car and would like to make it removable with out doing to much damage to the visual effects of the front bumper. Any ideas ??

My suggestion, just don't put it on. State law here too, but not too many cops bother you about a tag violation. I would think that when they see the car with the cervini kit they would cut a little slack. The kit is a conversation piece and I'll bet as long as your cool with the cops, they'll let the tag slide.

I have the Cervini kit too (just came this week). I'm not putting a license plate on the car up front. I haven't had one on any of my vehicles over the last 6 years. I have been written only once. It was a compliance ticket, so I wire tied the thing to my grill, then took it back off after going in to show them I complied.

We are going to try to fabricate something that mounts under the front bumper and above the center fog lights that can slide off and not be visible for shows. Or color match the plate mount so its not so noticeable during a show. With the side exhaust kit he installed I think the car is going to get alot of attention anyway.
