I'm looking to redo my front suspension. anyone have experience with this? approximate costs and different options? options for shocks/bushings/sway bars? anyone make A-arms for MII's?

I have springs i got from Racer Walsh, but havent put them in. I'm looking to do that in the next few days. Anyone changed just springs, leaving everything else stock? whats the easy way to do that?

Just tell me what you have done to yours, and about how much it cost.

    thanks guys, :nice:

I just finished doing the front end on my Pinto. I got the kit from PST pst it is a decent price i think, all bushings are Energy, and you get ball joints, tie rod ends. I also bought tubular uppers from ebay, very nice, powdercoated black with bushings and ball joints (i didn't get the lowers because my headers would interfear with them) A arms http://www.westcentralauto.com/SRW.htm here is a picture of my car, next time i have to pull the engine, i'll replace the steering rack and bushings (rack bushings come in the PST kit) Good luck!

I pretty much did what 78Pinto did, but I'm using Fatman upper control arms. The hardest part for me was knocking the ball joints loose from the control arms. I had a machine shop press in the lower control arm bushings and remove the lower ball joints. I got new PST springs and KYB Gas-A-Just shocks.

    Great info. *files it away*

Pardon the off-topic, but could any of you help me out with finding a Pinto message board and/or info archives? Google only goes so far =/

    Thanks
