I know that this question has probably been asked at least a million times in one form or another, but I'll go ahead and repeat it. How much boost will a factory '93 mustang fuel pump take? Basically, what is the ratio of LPH/GPH/etc. per PSI of boost
not very much, if you dont change it you up your chances for the KA-BooM factor... I think the ratio is 10psi of boost to 1 psi of fuel, but i'm probably wrong it might be backward...
Too many factors to say for sure. Your best bet is to keep it at 15psi or under if the engine is stock and 10-12psi or under if the engine is modded (porting, exhaust, intake, etc.) until you spend 100 bux on a good pump.
Thanks for the info guys. I believe that the ratio of fuel to pressure increase is 1:1 with a minimum of 45psi fuel. Due to a tight budget I'm goind to run with the stock pump, maybe for about a month until I can afford a 255LPH pump. I'm looking at either BBK or Granatelli. Possibly Holley too, because they're all about the same price. Thanks again
bbk holley upr and most other brands are made by walbro so whatever u find a good deal on just buy it
