so saturday i got up and seen it was a nice day out so i decided to go for a cruise. so i got ready and started the stang and it was missfiring like crazy!!!! at first i thought oh s**t i floated the valves or broke something internal so i called my buddy who does work on my car and to no suprise he didnt answer. so i popped the hood and started to look and then all of asudden i found it. a mouse or some kinda animal chewed threw my number 8 sparkplug wire. little bastards!!!! so to top it off i called orielys and then told me that they dont stock sparkplugs wires for my 98 gt. so now i was gitting pisssed. called autozone and they had them  what a way to start what was supposed to be a great drive.

That sucks, at least it was just the wires and not engine damage.

when i used to work at the shop up here, people would bring in thier vehicles, seemed like a couple times a week with no start problems, rough idle ect. pop the hood and i would find that mice have chewed through all kinds of wires, air boxes, sometimes the airbox would be filled up with the underhood insulation, or dogfood sometimes :rlaugh: im not sure what you would do to keep them out, but you gota make sure they stay out, because they mess stuff up prety good sometimes.

Autozone had them? Thats weird cause they say they only have them for the GTs with the 4.2 in it. :nonono:

Wanted to smack the dude when he insisted I didnt know what I was talking about and that Mustangs didnt have 4.6's in them.
