Well a friend of mine picked up his 04 Cobra last Friday and we lined up at the track Tuesday night. Being his first time ever at the track, I got a good jump on him until he finally started gaining on me like a frieght train. Once we crossed the line I noticed he wasn't letting up. To make a long story short, his gas pedal got stuck at full throttle. Good thing he was quick enough to think of turning the key off. I checked it afterwards and noticed that the gas pedal gets caught at the end of it's travel to the carpet on the right side of the pedal. Checking my GT with the same "racing" pedals from Ford, I noticed mine rubs also. Any of you ever have this problem? Thanks for any input.

yeah it very common concern especially among viper owners, and most other people I know. The sad thing is, most people cant figure it out themselves and take their vehicles to the shop. my favorite ones ware viper owners we had. I seriously think an I.Q. test should be given to anyone buying a high performance vehicle.

simply take the rug and pull it back away from the pedal. on racing nights remove rug before race, reistall rug after race.
