Does anyone know a good place to get gears installed around Raleigh, NC? I am getting 4:10 gears for Christmas or I am planning buying them after Christmas. I want to go somewhere that will do a good job, but not charge a ton of money to do it.

I would also like to ride in a Mustang that has 4:10's already installed if anyone around Raleigh has them.

    Thanks,
    Anthony

Try Fastlane Motorsports. Its located over where hwy 210 and I-40 cross. It actually has a benson address but its closer to raleigh. U could hit 40 and be there in no time. The phone # is 919-989-9377.I don't know what kinda of prices on labor they have. They've never done any work for me but I have bought some parts from them.I have a 86 GT and I went from 3.55s to 4.10s over the summer and I regret it every day.My mechanic talked me into changing them because he said my car needed them w/ the kind of motor and worked I have done.I don't think they helped at all. Don't get me wrong they are fun gears around town but not on the hwy. 4.10's would probably work best on a basically stock mustang, but if u got any kind of major engine work or anything i would go w/ 3.55s or 3.73s

A buddy of mine owns a shop on Capital blvd. called R.P.M.. Their guys do gear swaps everyday, no problem. Just someone to consider...
