General Turbo Coupe Swap List

    As I'm waiting to find a turbo coupe donor (and have the cash at the same time, that's the tricky part) I wanted to compile a list of things to grab off the donor. The 2.3T and 5spd are givens, but what other things should a guy grab to "upgrade" his 2.3 stang. What about things like suspension, brakes, interior pieces? What works and what doesn't?

    Although I hate to see Turbo Coupes gutted for Mustangs...:(

    Almost anything off the chassis will work except for the control arms (front and rear). Cars have disc brakes all around. Nothing in the interior will swap over except the seats, and you have to put the Mustang brackets on them.

    i have the motor/tranny/harness pulled out of a beat-to-hell '88 TC. i'm looking at getting a notch for a swap but would like to get a 5.0 notch and get my feet wet in the v8 world(as i have only have 2.5t shadows). edit; oh yeah, my location says VA but only 'cuz i'm doing my job training for the army. will be back in Iowa this next weekend.

    didnt mustangs come stock with turbos? go buy an svo! if you're gonna gut a car, gut an xr4ti. those poor things look worse dolled up than they do when they're beat to crap. dont bash me, i have an xr4ti. i cant gut it, the motor blew! LOL
