I'm taking the 07 to get tinted tomorrow morning and was wondering what everyones thoughts on having all the lights and markers blacked out on my GT with tint? Thanks all!

I smoked my front corners, and I think it looks just right on my car (tungsten). On your black, I think the corners look great in clear with stealth amber bulbs.

did you get the moleskin on the front doors? if not, youre at risk of scratching the tint. my install said it would not be a problem without it, and now two years later, its the worst looking tint i have ever had. its so scratched up.

Backing Big Cat on the moleskin issue. I was fortunate my tinter told me up front he was going to have to use moleskin in order to not have scratches occur.. The mustang door materials will destroy the tint fairly quickly. Be sure to confront your tint installer about this and do not accept any story about how great his tint is, how durable it will be, and how scratch resistant the product has been on every other car. The mustang inner rubber strip is hard as a rock and it's guaranteed to scratch.

    Thirded...

I searched the subject here and found out how crucial it is.

And wouldn't you know it? I called up the tint place and the first thing the guy said was "I'm gonna have to lay a strip of felt etc etc"

He knew his stuff! I went with 20%, it looks awesome.
