Well since I work tomorrow I will go ahead and post this ahead of time. I am going for the last test n tune of the season. I have all the bolt ons basically and am putting down 194/220 rwhp/tq respectively. The best that i have gotten stock on motor alone is 15.6 at 85+ mph. I am changing it up this time and adding 100 hp Shot of NO2 and hope that i will get into the high 13's with some cooler weather. When we went to the 1/8 mile i laid down a 9.3 which turns to a 14.3-14.5 in the quarter with a 75 shot! Wish me luck on the 13's! Travis
Here is my N/A best of three runs and I was consistent with my times R/t-.197 60--2.393 330-6.592 1/8-10.139 mph-69.61 1000-13.157 1/4-15.709 mph-88.59 Now onto the Nitrous (75 shot) here are my times. I was not able to get the 100 shot jets in time so I was forced to use the 75! Next year, 100 shot or nothing! R/t-.177 60--2.378 330-6.315 1/8-9.492 mph-77.55 1000-12.219 1/4-14.507 mph-98.93 I picked up 1.2 seconds on a 75 shot. I am quite pleased with how 'Spoiled' handled herself. Now maybe with the electronic WOT switch and Window switch and some DR I can get into the 13's. I am so happy with the way the car did! Travis
Yes, I am happy with that. I hope that with the 100 shot, I can hopefully get near that 13 that is being so elusive! Thanks guys, Travis
No tune needed or they say. I guess the praying, the 93 Octane gas and 30 bucks to fill it up and the Octane booster was the only tune. There are not too many shops around here that can really do a v6 tune, but when I get the 100 shot I will prolly get a tune anyway to open/close some items.
I can still beat u in a race! hahaha. Come to dallas this thanksgiving weekend and we can do some rac'n! But really, good job man.
What was the weather like that night? That seems like a pretty low trap for having 194whp/220wtq. I mean, my car trapped 90mph with just ~170whp/195wtq.
Dang, your car did on a 75 shot what mine did N/A! =D Just giving ya a hard time man. Good job on the runs.
He just needs more seat time. The better comparison to draw is his pre- and post- nitrous times. The difference between the two shows what that 75 shot was really worth. His times will get better with more passes @ the track.
Yes, I am not the best driver for sure. It was during the day about 75 degrees out and sunny. The first runs stuck good then once everyone got there it sucked.
Gotcha. Yeah, whether makes a huge difference. Since my 90mph run I added CAI and last time I went to the track, the best I trapped was 87 I believe because the weather was that much worse. Anyway, nice runs, and good luck getting those times down with some practice.
