A friend of my dad has some parts he was going to use to start putting together an engine for his fox, but he sold the car to buy a new house. He is willing to sell me the parts for rather cheap and was wondering if you think they would work well towards my build.

The first items are Edelbrock Victor Jr heads for 400$. They are unused and come with 1.7RR's.
The next thing he has is a tko-3560 transmission with king cobra clutch, and ford racing aluminum flywheel for 800$. All brand new in the box as well.

Now to me this seems like a great deal, but if it wont help my build it would just be a waste.

Right now I'm looking at buying a DSS 331 or 347 shortblock with low compression pistons. Will the victor jr heads work well with either of these on a forced induction build? I will most likely go with a custom blower cam or the comp cams blower cam.

Also I couldn't find any information on this transmission. Found plenty of info on the tko-3550, but he said it was a 3560. Would this transmission be much of an upgrade from my stock t-5?

Also, what intake combo would be best to go with this engine combo. I was looking into the systemax II.

Thanks in advance for any guidance. :D

I doubt they are Vic Jr heads...unless they are stolen. The Vic Jr heads are like $1500 for the pair from Summit.

The 3560 trans sounds like a tremec 3560...which I believe is the trans used in the 2000 era cars.

So, my dad called me today and he ended up getting the heads for 400$ with the 1.7 RR's.
Still trying to figure out if I want the transmission or not.

I have Victor Jr's with low compression on a 351w. Great so far, and yes forced induction x 2!

The 3560 is the stock tranny from a 99+ car. I believe it was supposed to be the upgrade from the t45 which came in the 96-98 cars.

If they are actually Vic Jrs then you did alright by jumping all over them. You could turn around and sell them for 1K easy. Vic Jrs. on a 347 is a great match!

The transmission I would pass on. A 347 Vic Jr. Headed forced induction motor will break the 3560 just slightly after it would break the T5.
