Got a donor car

    For my 5-speed conversion. Picked it up for $500. salvage title. Engine runs strong and the tranny shifts smooth. I will keep the drivetrain. Everything else will be parted out. The car looks like it was hit by a train. Door jams, fenders, core support, everything looks bent and cracked. Thank you Craigslist :nice:

    That car looks pretty clean with out knowing its a salvage car! Looks like a lot of parts to part out. headlights, seats etc...

    you can make lots of bank parting that car out after you tear its heart out. it sure does look good before you know everything is bent and screwed up.

    From the passenger side it doesnt look bad, from the drivers side you can tell. Sell off the wheels, interior, lights etc and make your money back easily.

    AAAARRRRGH! They painted the trim around the window of the driver's side door! :ack:

    For $500, you got a pretty damned good deal on that thing, really ... salvage or not. :nice:
