If I drop the 88 and add an 04 Cobra my premium will only increase 500 per year for full coverage and $500 deductible. Not bad.

I guess it helps that I'm 33, married, and have 3 cars, lol.

Still thinking of an 99 (with the fix) or 01, instead, though--Don't want to blow my whole lot of open money on a car payment. I'll have about 6500 per month after taxes coming in, but want to have some fun, too.

But it is nice to know that it's an option--and If I find a deal like others seem to get, I'll get the Terminator.

The 03/04 cobras are awesome, but for the money, you can get a 99/01 cobra, throw in forged internals, supercharge it, and still not pay what a used 03/04 costs.

If you have that much money coming in every month why not do it? Don't drop the 88 GT though. MY Cobra dropped 300 bucks for the year when I insured my notch a week ago. Don't you get a multi--car discount??

Yeah, we have 3 cars now and just got married, so it would actually be cheaper. I'm not gonna mess with a car payment for a while. I don't want to have to sell in order to get a house. I'll play with the fox, buy a house, then get somehting
