Well guys................I did it....The unthinkable........I traded the 272rwhp Conv GT for the Demon that is GM. I ended up buying a 2002 Red And Silver Anniversary Camaro SS. I know I know.....(WHAT DID YOU DO) I bought it for the wife as it is her favorite Car.....But ill be honest.....Im the biggest mustang lover there is man......But that Damn Camaro Is FAST!!!!!!!!! I mean with the money and mods I put into my stang the Mighty LS1 woulda still left me.....DAMN GM..... with there 310 RWHP STOCK !!!!!!!!!! WHAT ......Running 13.3s to 13.7s (pending on driver) Bone Stock. I hope the new 2008 Mustang Boss (5.0 390 Hp All Motor) is as powerfull as the LS2..... In 2008 ill be back in the Stallion.....But for now I guess im burning in Mustang hell Driving this Beast wearing a Bow Tie
congrats, at least you're still in a RWD V8 Just start saving for an 8.8 swap and good luck trying to get it to sound as good as your Stang did
Ill post pics sometime this weekend.......U know what really ticks me off...Ive been checking out there forums and these guys with a Head, Cam swap and Full Exhaust (With Tune) are pulling around 420 to 440 RWHP..... WHAT !!!!! Hell we mustang guys are happy with 370 RWHP (with Boost) can you imagine......just motor!!!!

Umm These cars make 370 with bolt ons and 430ish with just a cam and bolt ons and heads and came are 475-525+
I like the engine but the looks dont really impress me much. plus like 5 of my friends have 94-02 camaros and i just get sick of em. but nice pickup if thats what you wanted and im sure its nice
VERY nice...AMAZING looking cars. A friend of mine has a 2002 black SLP SS M6 camaro...pretty quick car. Dead sexy outside...just dont like the bump in the passenger floor . Anyways, adverage full bolton ls1 with a cam should put down around 400RWHP. Its very difficult to get 500RWHP out of a H/C/I setup...it really has to be RADICLE, and actually isnt very common. Generally they make like you said, 450ish RWHP. First things you should do is probably LTs and a lid...that should dip you straight into the lower 12s with traction and around 110-112MPH.
Yeah it can be done but wont be streetable. However a 383, 402, 408 stroker can put down some serious numbers. I would do the free mods, free ram air, throttle body bypass, ported TB, and work on a catback and cutout.
