The car put down 455hp, 480trq. Mods were a 2.80 pulley, tensioner, Bassani X pipe w/cats and catback, K&N FIPK, and TR6 plugs gapped to .035.

Tuning was done on a Chipmaster Revolution.

Now the car's top end is crazy. But.. for some reason it feels like a dog in the low end. 1st gear feels fine, 2nd gear.. 2500rpm, if I hit it, it doesn't really go anywhere past 4000RPMs. I looked at the torque graph and from 3k-4k RPMs the torque is around 470ft/lbs. But it doesn't even feel like it at all.

After driving it around for awhile, it feels a little better. The torque is coming more and more each time I hit.. I don't know why. I thought that the chip completely overrode the ECU? Does the ECU still have to adjust?

I don't know. I took it back and they had another car on the dyno so I have to go ahead and go back another day. But I just got on it right before I got home and it feels good.

Then again, maybe it was too hyped up. Everyone told me that I'm going to go insane when I pulley. I don't even hear the tires spinning in 2nd.

Is something wrong, or does the ECU have to learn?
