I purchased the vinyl floor mats from Ford last year and was greatly disappointed. They don't cover the entire area in front and their shape is odd to say the least. Sacramento Mustang has some vinyl mats with the running pony molded in that cover the entire area and look great in place. I got mine from ebay but they are available on the company's web site. The price is competitive too.

Yes. Much better fit than the factory. The factory mats also have "splits" in them to match the parts of the floor that are not perfectly flat. The factory mats are also rectangular and do not curve out to meet the door as these do.
Take my word for it, I have had both and these are much better than the factory mats.

Hmm, my red factory floormats are carpeted.

The floor mats I am speaking about are the vinyl, not the carpeted factory mats. These are ideal for winter, lots or rain or other nasty stuff that would pose problems for the carpeted mats.

Yeah, I bought the vinyl mats as well. Put the factory carpeted mats in the trunk so that I could put my golf shoes on them after a round and not get the whole trunk covered in grass.
