Check out the MAC soundclip on mustangworld website!! Great overview of how to install system and clip provided:nice: Located in how-to articles also on front page can't miss it. Just thought I'd share a cool link, makes me want MAC exhaust but I heard they drone badly:shrug:

That was the first thing, performance wise, that I did to my car was put the MAC axle back kit on there. Yes it does drone badly, but man does it make the car sound good. Then I added a Bassani X pipe and it sounds even better:nice: My autobody guy suggested the MACs, and I took his advice because he has worked around Mustangs and just about any other fast car you can think of, as well as owning Mustangs for a long time. After I put the X pipe on, he said he swore it was a Ferrari pulling up the first time he heard it on my car. So MAC and Bassani are cool in my book:hail2:

Hey Mydyghte, I was thinkinig about getting that exact same setup. Did the X-pipe help reduce some of the drone? You got any sound clips you could post?

He has painted a Ferrari, the guys wife had keyed it.....

Don't have any sound clips, but the x-pipe did help reduce the drone. Not sure how much of a hand the comp cats had in that, but those are on there as well.

Also Mydnyghte, how bad is the drone really. My last car was a '94 Z28 w/ no muffler - straight pipe that dumped right after the cat (pretty much under the passenger seat) and the drone/noise pretty much rattled my interior to pieces. Are we talking that bad? Is it bad enough to the point were after a couple years the interior is gonna start having vibration rattles from the drone?

I guess what I'm sayin is that my ears don't mind the drone but if it is gonna turn my car into a rattle box I don't want it...

I have not noticed any new rattles since I have had the exhaust, and once the car warms up it gets a little quieter. It is not bad enough to make me want to listen to music while I drive:D I will see what I can do about getting a video.

Has anyone seen the video I was talking about? What did ya think about it? They look sweet on the car and they sound great too:nice: I also like the price of the mac compared to other brands. I think I can put up with the drone my 66 drones pretty bad from inside but sounds great outside, seems like I'm gonna have the same situation with the 05. I want it loud and drone comes with loud.

    PS I don't want SLP's I want chambered exhaust
