gt muffler get louder

    I put a gt muffler on my v-6 right after i got it and i swear it is a lot louder now. not offisive just a nice growl. any body else gotton this??

    Yeah, over time the exhaust gases wear down the edges of chambered mufflers and wear out (basically burn up) the filler in strait-through mufflers, causing them to get louder. Typically takes about a year or so for the most noticeable changes, after that the process slows.
