guages not working

    my fuel, oil and temp guages wont work in my 78, i have replaced the bad fuzes and whiped the ribbon connector and wire harness, still nothing, any help would be appreciated.:shrug:

    Continuity check on those circuits?

    One possibility that comes to mind is the Instrument Voltage Regulator on the printed circuit ribbon. I've heard of them being troublesome, but have not had a problem myself.

    Always check for bad grounds.
    The instrument panel connector ground pins to chassis ground.
