has anyone here actually gutted the engine bay of everything but the engine and brake system stuff.... ?

i relocated the battery to the back , and started yanking everything else out today all the old air conditioner system ( didnt work anyway) , and charcoal canisters and all ?

if so did anyone notice enough of a weight difference to notice ?

the most you would remove is about 50lbs which is not really "noticeable". It makes the engine bay look less cluttered though. I removed my a/c system and bracket (temporarly, till i replace it with an R134 (new) system). Remember you need the charcoal canistor if you have to pass emissions. If you remove it , make sure to plug the vaccum hoses!
