Mac & BBK both make good quality off road h pipes. I prefer the Mac because of the modular 3 peice design because its easier to install & easier to get it to fit right. I have a Bassani catback & Mac o/r h & I love the sound. Its very unique imo because most people run X pipes with Bassani mufflers, & most run chambered mufflers with H pipes....

MRT also makes a EXCELLENT quality H pipe. It is much more pricier because it is full stainless, but the quality is far better than Mac & BBK, but if you live in a place where it doesn't snow much, than the Mac or BBK will be fine. I loved my catted MRT H, but since I went to LT's, I switched over to Mac & have no issues with it. The quality is great for the price. I have had the Mac H on 3 different stangs & they all fit good, & I also had a BBK H on my fox when it was stock & that also fit good too.

Here is a video of my current setup. Mac LT's, o/r h, & Bassani catback.

I run a MAC o/r H and MAC catback and love it. Ive had several Mustangs, all with different exhaust setups and my current one is by far my favorite. My current stang is my slowest but by far the best sounding one ive ever owned.

EPIK, if memory serves me correctly, the MRT H pipe is only available for the 99+ mustangs. Back when I had my '97 I was looking for a different exhaust setup and I really wanted the MRT pipe but could not find one to fit my year.

Yea it pricey. I bit the bullit and bought the catted version. Well built peice of pipe. Sounds great with my Magnaflow catback. Pearl02.

Thanks for the input guys and i'm leaning towards a h now instead of a x. I was going to get a bassani x but I noticed that I can get a h pipe cheaper. What do you guys think about the o/r prochamber with my bassani setup?
