Ever since i installed the o/r h at 2400 rpm i get a terrible vibration and i cant figure out where its coming from. i crawled back under the car and loosened and re tightened the bolts but it still does it? any tricks to help reduce the vibration. its only at 2400 not below or above but its BAD! thanks alot for suggestions.

I think you are hearing an exhaust drone that is a byproduct of your h pipes and flowmasters. Put the originalmufflers back on and see if it changes or goes away.

I dont have the original mufflers unfortunately. It could be the drone but you can hear it right in the middle of the car like its metal to metal almost? oh well im used to it now i just thought there might be a quick fix.

What brand? Pypes? More then likely the noise is coming from the metal hangers not positioned right in the rubber hangers at the tranny mount. They usually are tweeked a little and hitting the metal casing of the rubber hanger.

I agree. My buddy had this very problem with his Pypes O/R H but we were able to get it fixed.

Have you checked your e-brake handle? Mine was vibrating horribly (and loudly) until I performed the MGW Dynomat "fix" to it and I would have sworn it was coming from under the car and/or the exhaust or shifter until I grabbed the plastic cover while driving and the sound immediately went away. ...Probably not the source of your problems but easy enough to check.

Thanks alot guys.. ill check the ebrake but im pretty sure its the Hpipe. it didnt start doing it until i installed it. so if its the hangers did you just adjust them until you got them right or trim the excess off or what? i guess i could put some duct tape around the end of the hangers drive it and see if it still vibrates?
