tonight my wife, me, and her brother went to the movies....on the way back to his house on the highway i blew a tire....we was 1-1/2 mile from his house.....when i tried to change it i realized i had one of those wound up floor jack with none of the pieces....so we walked to his house to get his truck, then went to walmart to get a floor jack....after we got back to the car i changed the tire.....he went home, while me and my wife had to drive 9 miles to day care to get the kids(2 hrs late but called them)....we got 1/2 mile from day care then my spare went flat....so since we were 1 mile from the house we walked home got my wife's car, and i put her spare on my car while she went to go pick up the kids....2-1/2 hrs later i'm finnally home and now have to get ready for bed...have to work at 7am.... well thats my story for today...
Yes... on the way to a RHCP concert my friends tires looked low... i heard something that didnt sound right and told him to pull over he said it was just the road 3 minutes later the tire blew... changed it in the rain had my head in a puddle doing it... Was suposed to pick up my sportlines b4 the show from someone in north jersey... had to call him and didnt get there till like 12am... lol
with all of the other **** going on, you have to have some good luck coming your way. hang in there champ.
I have the General UHPs and so far I like them... I mean they aren't the best tire but they are pretty good... When I had jsut the fronts it was great, with the 275/40's in the back the car trammels a lot now... but traction is way up from the goodyear ZR45's that were on it before... and the wet and cold traction is awesome... Think of these as more of an all season perforance tire though... The only think I don't like about them is that they are noisy... at the edge of traction (corners, skooting fom a stop, etc) they chirp a LOT....
cool...because its the best deal i could find...for 2 for my rear(since i blew one out ) it cost me $220 for everything...mounted and balanced....
