Here is my stupid question for 2009... When buying Hawk HPS pads, how many pads are in a box? 2 or 4? I just don't want to order a "set" of rear pads thinking I'll be able to do both rear wheels and then find out there are only 2 pads in the box.

There will be four. I bought them for the fronts on my car.

4 pads - you'll also need a special tool to push in the caliper pistons when you try to change the rear pads

This...absolute truth. You can push the front ones down with a C-clamp...yeah, trying doing that with the rear ones. Hopefully the clamp snaps before you damage the car.
