Not too familiar with Haynes clutch. I have the centerforce dual friction in my 01 Cobra Works really well. A Spec3 in my 02 Camaro also works well. I believe the break in process is very important
I assume you are talking about the Haynes Auto Repair Manuals? I've got one for the 95 Cobra I used to own and it seemed to cover things quiet adequately. I've never tried to get one for a 4V 4.6L, but I would think for sure they would cover all versions... they typically do anyway. You can search on eBay and buy a Ford service DVD as well.
I bougth one for my '01 cobra that said it was good up to the '03s, but it didn't discuss the IRS at all. On closer examination, it seemed to talk about the pre-99s only. Took it back.
