I just took my head off to replace the head gasket that was blown in between the 1 and 2 cylinder and I am ready to put it back on...but i see there is some uneveness on the edge in between the 2 and 3 cylinder, however it looks kind of like it is supposed to be there, I was wondering if anybody could tell me if it is. this is a 87 2.3T by the way, I wanted to put it back on today but i cant because i dont know if that head is supposed to be like that or not, thanks The Silver Bandit
If it doesn't look the same between 1 and 2...you've got a problem. I assume you drove it quite a while with a blown HG?
