just picked up my first mustang, 2001 cobra in performance red. the car is great but the headlights are pointed up way to high. i turned the adjuster on the inner part of the light very carefully and they both seem to be stuck and not grabbing the little gear inside i dont want to force it back. has anyone run into this problem before? any ideas? thanks guys.

The best place to do this is in your driveway at dusk. Aim the lights at the garage door and go from there. This is a little old trick my dad taught me when I has about 10-12 years old. It works greaet and I fix a lot of wrecks. Anyways, those gears should grab and move the lights. Those lights are mostly plastic though, so they might be stripped. If they won't adjust, you might have to get new ones.
