Hey guys, I was curious about the physics of the hood. Does it extract heat from the radiator, exhaust manifolds, or what? Im sure Ford has an intention for it, or they wouldnt have made it functional. How does it work? For the 03-04 Cobra , of course.
Just as the name implies, as the car moves down the road hot air is allowed to escape through the hood vents. A small amount of vacuum is created above the vents at speed which helps the process somewhat. U.M.
