heater core from a gt

    i was wondering if you could put a heater core from an 92 gt into a 87 4 cly....if not why?

    If both cars either did or did not have A/C, then yes. When in doubt, go to a parts store's website and see if the part numbers are the same.

    All heater cores are the same for 4cyl, 6cyl or V8 as long as you get the one for a A/C car or one for no A/C.

    well both cars did have the a/c but witch are now deleted in both cars. would it matter still?????????

    You must use a A/C heater core. Different animal that is why they ask.

    as far as the year it doent matter , because it goes through the firewall and all chassis are the same 79-93
