Well, been through the mill on this '84 SVO. Seems to have a bad VAM. Problem is, it's extinct as far as Ford goes. Where can I get a new one, or, even better, is there a way around this whole VAM thing and maybe upgrade or update the car to some kind of newer system? Any and all help is appreciated. BTW... the sig is for my '01 GT. Thanks...

You may try asking MikeSVR, on his site he mentioned buying one from someone who was remaking them. I never did ask him which company it was my self.

As for something other than a VAM, some how you can convert to a MAF sensor, but not sure how. I know they got some treads on TurboFord.org talking about it.

    Hope that helps some :)

Just pick up a good used one for 30-40 bucks. If you don't like that idea then most parts stores should be able to get them.

Otherwise you will have to go stand alone (big bucks) or get an EEC Tuner and convert to mass air (not as big $$$)
