hey guys just put on a blower, vortec v1-s trim 3.5 pulley (8-10)lb. Everything is stock. Im about to order 42lb ford racing injectors i just wanna make sure that is all i need to install them. Well a shop will be doing it but yea. my car has been sitting the driveway for 2 months almost. I put the blower in myself took 3 days going to the store back and forth. anyways yea the tuning sucks on the car i bought a Sniper Tuner. Car runs but error code from the "check engine light" says that its running too lean. I think i crapped out my stock injectors, The car has 100k on it already so im HOPING thats the problem. I dont drive the car hard, once in a while. I was hoping you guys could help me out. I came from SN95 forums but their website seems to be always shutting down and i cant get a reply to this problem. Here are some pics and my print out from autozone. BTW i am running a 8:1 FMU with those stock injectors. like i said im going with the 42lbs and removing the Crappy FMU. 0807082113.jpg

Very nice looking 97. I love the green w/tan interior, not to mention I love the blower ;)
I have a 97 and according to a tech at Diablo you cannot use a modern tuner. Apparently we have to replace the computer's chip because it is not programmable.
Don't rely on AutoZone for your codes. Get a decent code reader.
Do you have a modified exhaust? MIL's??

thanks for your reply ... no stock exhaust still. I plan on doing a side exhaust next year so i might as well go with magnaflow or a bassani set up. As for the chip yea i guess i have to find a tuning shop. Anyone from the jersey area?

You're gonna need a bigger fuel pump and a different MAF for the injectors. And then get it tuned by a reputable tuner.

I wouldn't even start it if you're getting a lean code.
