So your clutch cable is to short so it pops off the quadrant when you push the clutch down all the way ?

no its not to short its long enough just when i press the clutch down the clutch fork slides like its suppsed to but when i let out of it the clutch fork doesnt slide back to its normal position it stays stuck towards the bell houseing ... i thought maybe the TO bearing was bad but i no it usually squeals or makes noise witch mines doesnt then i thought maybe the pivots bad but im not sure

When you push the clutch in does it feel like the cable is rubbing inside the outersleeve? You said you melted it on the headers.. That would make me think the part where it is melted could be causing the cable to drag and not release properly causing unwanted slack which results in the cable coming off the quadrant...

no the clutch feels normal pressing it down ... this one isnt melted to my knowledge that was a problem i had before the cable in it now has been wrapped etc to prevent the melting but i did notice the cable doesnt go exactly straigh into the bell housing it is at a slight angle ...just very mind boggled cuz it could be something small that im just looking over lol
