Alright, I had originally planned on buying the Trickflow trach heat package, but after doing alot of research and saving money I have heard nothing but bad things about this package.

So far I plan on going with these parts but I need some guidance for best gains.

    COMP cams supercharger cam
    AFR 185cc??? heads
Trickflow R-series or maybe just track heat intake
    75mm TB
    90mm MAF
    ??# injectors
    1.6RR's
    ARP performance headbolts
    Lots of gaskets
    255lph fuel pump

    What else am I missing?

The car is already supercharged, It's a completely stock engine right now besides the vortech kit, and msd ignition.

Camshaft Innovations or CamMotion (look for 114 lsa)
AFR 185s (wont work on stock pistons)
Trickflow R-series or maybe just track heat intake (I would Do the Holley Sys)
75mm TB (70mm is plenty for a boosted engine)
    90mm MAF
    ??# injectors (42s)
    1.6RR's
    ARP performance headbolts (do studs)
    Lots of gaskets
    255lph fuel pump

What are you tuning with? Also what pulley combo on the Vortech and does it have a powerpipe?

Have you done a leakdown on the motor also?

Have not done a leakdown on the motor but I will be taking it to logan motorsports who tunes and uses SCT products. I do have a powerpipe and its running the stock pulley.

With AFR 185cc heads, you may need to flycut the pistons because they won't accomodate a 2.02" intake valve.

What heads would you recommend that would not require any modifications to the pistons?

As far as I know, the TFS heads are the only ones you can get away with running a 2.02 intake valve on a stock shortblock because of the canted valves. It was one of the deciding factors when I chose to buy them, myself.
