I got an 88 Mustang GT 5.0 and I need to know what ounce it is? I took the flywheel and asked the ford dealership and as always he said he had no clue:nonono: he ran the numbers on the flywheel and it came back nothing. I know there is a 50 oz and a 28 oz but how you tell? I have a shaking in the car like a wash machine off balancedMy harmonic balancer in a 28 oz it was changed but i may have needed a 50 oz harmonic balancer this is why I'm trying to figure out what size flywheel I have?:bang: :bang: :bang:

But if I put a 50 oz flywheel I also have to put a 50 oz harmonic balancer too. it's got a new 28 oz harmonic balancer on it now and I m not sure what the flywheel is feels like it it's 10 + pounds it's heavy

88 stock shortblock is 50 oz, for the flywheel/balancer.
