Last night, 5 days after I picked up the 04, while I was parking the car the power steering line on the driver's side decided it had had enough. The line separated at the connection between the metal tube and the rubber hose and the system drained instantly. On inspection it actually looked like there was no clamp or crimp on the connection.

Anyway, the power steering fluid sprayed over everything, the bottom of the engine, the tire and rim, the rotor, everything, it looked like my baby bleed to death. I had to drive the car onto the flat bed that they sent so I'm sure that some fluid got onto the driver's side brake pads, but beside that is there anything else that I should get them to replace when it gets into the shop on Monday?

Is there any chance of damage to the surface of the rim, the tire, the belts, the boots and bushings? I also had to run the car for a couple of minutes after the line had blown, while I was getting it on and off the flat bed. Would this affect the PS pump? :(
