Got a new headliner for the cobra. Started installing it ,but I need help. What holds the headliner at the back towards the hatch,in the center??? I used 3m spray adhesive and tucked it into the hatch weatherstrip, but it did not hold. Am I missing something? (trim)

Just glued in. I wound up using a regular contact cement, since the aerosol didn't hold on mine, either.

I think I used Weldwood general purpose contact cement, like is commonly used for formica countertops, etc.

    Use 3M weatherstripping adhesive.

Contact cement! Apply to both sides. Allow time for both side to tack up and place it, CAREFULLY As it will be permanent.

Thanks, I thought I was missing a moulding to hold, it or some clips. It has been a while since I removed it.

Holy cow:bang: I just got finished with the headliner. You need to be an octopuss to in stall one . Hope I never have to do that again, but certainly, it would have been easier with the seats out. Oh well. Now I am looking for the pillar covers. 2 in front beside the windshield and the 2 beside the seats between the door windows and quarter windows. anyone have some?
