ok my car needs an alignment real bad.....the thing is, hwen the car steering wheel is aimed straight, the car idles perfectly at 1000 rmps w/ blower. When the wheel is turned, the car wants to die or the rpms just go up and down like a rollercoaster. Will the alignment fix this problem, or is it someting else..like underpowered alternator? I was under impression stock alternator should be plenty powerful for whati have. thanks for any reply's

You have a belt problem or pulley problem it sounds like. Alingment has nothing to do with the problem you are having. When you turn the wheel you load the power steering pump and it may be locking down and or providing to much incremetal resitance. This maybe loading the motor and causing a flux in rpms i.e. load no load load no load becasuse somthing is wrong with the power steering pump, bearing in pully of power steering pump, or belt alingment over power steering pump. Best I can say from what you have said.
