HID Bulbs

    I currently have the American Muscle HID kit....its 8000k.....a little on the blue side for me...id rather have whiter, like a 6000k. Does anyone know if you can just change the HID bulb to change the Kelvin temp....or do you have to get new balasts? And if you can change just the bulb, anyone know where to get them? Thanks

    HID Color

    You should be able to just change the bulb. I have the Retro-Solutions kit with 6000K bulbs, I love them. Very white with just a tinge of blue.

    You might just contact the folks that sold you the kit and see if you can buy a pair of bulbs of the color you want. :shrug:
