hit a rsx in the parking lot

Today was the possibly ****tiest day ever.. I got a letter saying that I had 1000$ in fees (for

classes) due even though it was showing me as owing nothing, so I rush down to school because apparently

if I did not make it there in the next 2 hrs they were going to drop my classes. On top of this I

was late for class and I lost my debit card. So I carelessly tried to squeeze into a

tight parking spot (what the hell is with people who cant stay in the lines) because campus was

a parking nightmare. Pretty much hit the car next to me in the rear bumper. I was not going

THAT fast, but the rsx bumper got MESSED up and half of it came loose... and I ended up

getting minor scratched paint. After waiting for a little bit, I eventually called the police.. The

bad part about the whole stupid thing is the 500$ insurance deductible for something as

retarded as a parking lot accident... 500$ is alot for a typical college student

you should have left a note, parked somewhere else and went to class. with a fake phone number.

try to pay for it without insurance because otherwise youll have to pay the deductable and your insurance will go up.

i wouldda kicked the rest of the bumper off that rice wagon and parked 2 lanes behind. sucks tho, sorry man

I know the feeling of wanting to kill someone for leaving. Illegal or not, I would happily pay the money over knowing how much of a huge prick I would be for ditching.

yea well when you leave the note it reads "sorry i hit your car, somebody saw me do it so im pretending to write my information here is a fake number 555-5555" so if anyone sees you, it looks legit... i thought this scenerio was a popular joke.

It doesn't matter how you handled it, if someone hits your car, it is still going to happen to you. Somebody hit my brothers car in front of my house (parked in the street), the alarm went off, and they still smashed out, as we were running out the front door.

Did that a year ago man on a date... backin out of a spot after dinner... we came out and my beautiful gf is chattin with me.... so i look both ways and it's good, start to back out, and look some more to the left as a car is turnin the corner... so i giver a lil' gas and from the right some ricer girl trys to speed by and it's 100% her fault cuz i was in the clear and she trys to squeak thru,.... so i get to foot the bill! ...I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!

Dude, I'm glad to hear you did the right thing... And for those of you who say you'd run away BE ASHAMED!!!!! You know you'd feel bad if someone did that to you! Especially if you have liability only insurance.

same thing happened to me, backed into a friends car that i completly didnt see and did $800 worth of damage to it, all it did to mine was bend in the bumper so i reached under and poped it back out and could never tell the difference on my car
