    Anybody help me here?
Wondering if the GT-500 "power bulge" hood fits on a '05-'09 GT?

The wife likes the way they look, I was wondering if they fit with no mods.
I don't like the idea of an aftermarket hood, but maybe I'm too affected by the fiberglass junk from the 70's & 80's.

Are the GT-500 hoods steel, aluminum, glass?

Are there good after market alternatives that require only paint, not complete reworking?

    Thanks in advance.
    :nice:

The GT500 hood would fit but it'd look horrible since the front bumpers are so different to accommodate the "buldge". I believe they are aluminum or steel. I'd only use the GT500 hood if you did a complete front end conversion.

Steeda's hoods are known for their quality. Cervinis are good quality. Both are fiberglass as far as I know. Any hood is going to need to be prepped including OEM since it's such a large "flat" surface which shows imperfections too well.

    Thanks a million!
    Will look into it.
