Hey guys, I know this isn't 100% car related, but I didn't know who else to ask, and figured you could all help.

My roommate at college next year just did a sound system in his car... He ordered grilles for his subs, and they ended up sending him an extra sub at no charge... well we want to hook up the sub to run on either our stereo system in our dorm or off of our computer. How can we do it?

    Thanks!

you're gonna need an external amp to run the sub, and also you need to get some sort of inverter to run RCAs for tha amp... i'd just sell that car sub and get an interior soundsystem sub... much easier
