That car is very ugly. I'd be flying in the opposite direction. I understand what it's trying to represent, but I think it could have been done better. Love the idea, hate the execution.
At the Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach. Our local Stang club went there a couple weeks ago and they pulled out the Mustang for us, however the strip was grass, so there were no passes!
I liked everything about the av-x10 EXCEPT that front "painted bra". If they'd checkered it to make it look more the nose of a P-51 mustang that MIGHT have made it look more recognizable as a homage to the WWII fighter. The rest of the AV-x10 was completely AWESOME. That two tone interior is actual leather bomber jacket material. I couldn't believe it sold for HALF of the previous year's charitable vehicle, the AV-8. I think the AV-X10 had the (literally) 10 millionth 4.6 Liter off the line installed in it, too. (see my blog posting of it back when it sold in August here) But really, we're off topic here. The OP's car is really what we should be complimenting. It is really a great shot! Don't get the chance to see the two together like that too often!
