Finally got a chance to run my car for the first time since I put the 5speed and some bolt on's on it. How do you think I did?

My car is a full weight '89 GT with , Gforce syncro'd T5(2.95 1st gear) , 1 5/8 BBK Shorty's/catted x pipe/dynomax catback with race bullets,3:73's, Trick Flow street heat w/ 70mm TB , CAI , No front sway bar , A/c removed. Everything else is untouched. I ran with 255/50/16 street tires in the rear aired up at 32 psi so I took it easy out of the hole walking the clutch out at about 2500rpm. I'm going to go back next time with a drag radial on my spare pony's and go for a deeper 13second pass.

R/T .230
60' 2.096
330' 5.826
1/8 8.921
1/8 MPH 78.98
1000' 11.610
1/4 13.87
1/4 MPH 99.90

nothing wrong with a car under 14 second 1/4. now you have a start point and see how low you can tune it from here. DR and a higher rpm launch should change that number quite a bit.

Yeah i'm happy with what i ran especially with a soft launch(13.8 was my goal). I'm going to either get a set of draglites or put a set of ET streets on my spare pony's and go a 13.5 or so. Does anyone else here have similar bolt on's? If so what did you run ?

to compaire with mine,

88 gt vert auto with 3.55's, exhaust, intake and bolt ons.

reaction - .159 to .004 (im proud of this one)
60 foot - 2.24
1/8 mile in a blistering 9.41 @77.93

looks like there is a tenth in your RT but looks like some solid baseline runs for the start of the season. if you can keep from breaking something you should do better! :nice:
