    I have a 99 v6 mustang

Do I take that huge spindle nut off? What size socket do I need for that? Also what keeps it from coming off without a cotter pin?

    Thanks

NO, you need to remove the bracket that the caliper bolts too.

There are two bolts, If I remember correctly they are 12 or 15 mm Bolts that is all.

Remove them and the rotor falls off!

Yeah, usually you just have to bang the crap out of them with a hammer or something to get them off. Like you said, they were rusted on, that's what usually happens, well, at least from my experience.
