I got a new bumper cover for my 99 cobra. I got one from an 01 cobra so it says cobra molded into the bumper. how do i remove the old cover and how do i reinstall the new one?? is it easy, hard or what? any details will help. thanks.
First off it is real easy! Remove the trunk lining! Get underneath the car remove the push pins (4) from the underside of the car. Remove the two screws that are in the wheel well! One on each side. Look on the tunk wall where the lights are and such and you will see several bolts! These if I am not mistaken are 10mm screws! Remove all, but have someone to help you! The old bumper will fall. Remove bumper and then remove the stud strip (bolts) and reinstall on the new bumper. Remove side lights on bumper and install on new bumper not to overtighten for they are plastic and will break. Place bumper back on and do not tighten them all at once, work your way around! until they are all tight! Travis.
