    I WILL HAVE PICS LATER.

Went to post my front speaker removal and noticed a thread was started asking about the rear speakers.

I AM GOING ABOUT THIS THE MUCH EASIER WAY:

    1. Fold down both of the rear seats (if you still have them :D ) and
    2. Remove the three 5/16 (five-sixteenths) bolts

    3. Pick-up and pull out the piece you just removed the bolts from.

    4. Remove the 2 pop 'em bolts from either side of the cardboard/carpet deck cover and...

    5. Then bow the piece of cardboard carpet stuff in half....

    6. Then pull out the one corner and remove completely.

    7. you'll need a stubby philips head screwdriver to remove the speaker because it's so close to the rear window.

Re-installation is revese with no changes.

NOTE: The factory 5x7 speaker can be replaced with an aftermarket 6x8. It will fit.

I tried to put a 6x9 in once (friends car took them) and you'd definiently need to do some cutting and drilling. They seem to be a bit bigger than the factory slot. Either that or sell 'em and buy a pair of 6x8's.
