New member here.Just thought I would stop on and say Hi.

I bought my 06 Black 5spd GT about 4 weeks ago and loving it.I only have 255 miles on it so far due I only live 3 miles from work and have had no time for a trip out.I drive these almost everyday so no big deal:D

I ordered a saleen s/c,cai,90mm maf and sct tuner and they should arrive in the next few days.I cant wait to install them.

Seems like a great group here and look forward to chatting with everyone:SNSign:

Welcome! Yes, there are a lot of great people on here. There is a ton of info on here. Most anything I have found info on via Search. It's really nice.

    Got pics of your ride?

Well there will be plenty that can afford it and still wont get one myself included. Our GM already stated they will be selling the one we'll get for msrp. With dozens on the waiting list and 40k+ in there pocket why not buy a GT and mod it and make your own.

    Welcome CorralOne.
We would be interested in any input you have about the Mustang auto transmissions. How are they holding up in the new 05-06's?

The same trans used in the V8 explorer. Some of the 02's had trouble with the bands breaking. No serious troubles since.I have'nt seen any mustang with trouble yet.

Overall a good trans.I'm not sure if it could hold up to alot of torque since its only rated for 550lbs.The converter is multiplying torque so its very close to capacity now.5R55W 5 for 5spd,the 55 is torque rating x10.Most fords trans names look like this F150 is 4R75E,F350 5R110E ect.
