I'm trying to get a figure for HP for what I might have under the hood. It is hard for me to get to a dyno so I was hoping you more experienced guys might be able to give me a figure. Here are the following mods. I will list everything even though I know things like gears dont give you power but seem like they do. You guys might even be able to tell me what she should run in the 1/4.

    K&N Cold Air
    70mm MAF
    65mm TB
    Stock Intake
    Stock Heads
    Accel Ignition
    March Underdrive Pulleys
    Mac Headers
    2.5 Exhaust with Cobra Tips
Hurst short throw on Stock tranny
    3.73 gears
KYB Shocks front and rear with rear air bags 5-25 lb adjustment

Any info would be great.....I know the intake and heads are crappy but that is a problem I am soon gonna remedy. The car came with all these other mods so I couldn't really complain.

    I'd say 210ish RWHP.

Looking at low 14 second 1/4 depending on conditions and tune.

I forgot to mention it also has an offroad h-pipe as well..not sur if that matters much. Also based on current mods....what intake and heads have you guys found to work the best? I have heard the cobra intake is actually pretty good but I am still pretty new to this so I need all the help I can get. I have also heard an intake and heads are good for about 100 HP in conjuction with my current mods.

throw in cam and intake with the rest of the supporting cast and you may get an extra 100.

    I would guess ~215.

I dynoed 246rwhp, 300rwtq with similar mods but a Performer intake and catted H-pipe

Man I was really hoping for some higher numbers there but I guess I can live with that till I get my intake and heads. I know for sure I'ma try to get it to a dyno before and to a dyno after I get heads and an intake.

when buying your heads and intake , Try to stick with a combo, i.e. if you use edelbrock intake ....use edelbrock heads, Holley stick with holley. You can mismatch and have good results, Do your research first if you go that route, and it may cost more, because you may have to port match pieces together. A good H/C/I combo, with a good tune will provide you with 300HP.:D

at a normal altitude I would say 210-215-ish but since your in CO...you may be a little lower than that even. you could see 190, the thing is everyone else around you will also be that much less so its a wash/equal.

Well you guys were right on with the numbers. She made 213.45rwhp and 272.51rwtq with the stock intake and heads on there. I was actually quite surprised to find out while I was at the dyno that the recent Mustang Mach 1's make almost that same amount of HP and TQ. Not too shabby for a mostly stock 5.0. Stay tuned for H/C/I numbers.
